Busy Girl Again

I've been back at being a busy social butterfly again. The last few weeks I've been many places. Spent some time with several of my friends in Mississauga, Whitby, Uxbridge. I went to a birthday party for a one year old Matthew who I helped deliver a year ago. I've done some gr. 8 grad hair and happy to say I still got it....heeheehee....I spent a few days the beginning of this week in Grand Bend with the girl I went to Dominican with and had a great time with her family. I was welcomed with open arms by all her family. Tomorrow I leave for Fenlon Falls for a weekend with another group of girlfriends. 12 of us in total and that should be crazy fun. Next week I have some hair to do and I see my specialist, then the following week, off to a cabin with another girlfriend north of Goderich for a few days too.

Today I went to CF clinic and was told that the mass in my lungs has not shrunk....at all.... and my lung function has dropped another 2% to 57%. I'm a bit frustrated that I've been on all these antibiotics and on this IV for over 3 months and it hasn't made a bit of difference. Guess the docs weren't joking when they said it was a hard bacteria to kill. So, Tuesday, I see the specialist for the MAC and find out what is going to be done from here on in. I'm thinking I'm going to have this picc line in for the remainder of the summer....which will really really suck..... But, such is life and I recognize there are alot of people alot worse off than me.

So, other than this stuff, I still continue to enjoy my horses and working with them. I've been out on my bike quite a bit. Jay is looking for work again. The last job was just contract and they don't have enough work to keep him on full time, so back to the drawing board for him. He's taking it all is stride and getting odd jobs through labour ready to keep him busy until a "real" job comes along. Hard for him though to be working for minimum wage after 6 weeks of killer money.
