So, lets start with Thursday at the Octoberfest Woman of The Year Awards where Elsa (barn owner) was nominated for the Community Services categpry. We had a very nice evening. Good food, nice atmosphere. Lots of amazing stories of what women in this community do on a daily basis.

This is Elsa with hubby Rob. Unfortunatly, Elsa did not win in her category, but she is a winner with all of us at the farm who think she does amazing things.

Saturday was a wedding. My upstairs housemate, Kirsten married Dave in a beautiful small ceremony in Mount Forest. It was a beautiful ceremony and a wonderful meal. The first of many for the weekend. The evening ended with guests singing karioke...Jay participated... I did not.!!

Very cool to be escorted around in horse and buggy. It was a steamy hot day and the horses were a bit ornorary I think...

My handsome hubby squinting in the sun because his cruel wife made him take his glasses off for the picture.

Me...holding up the tree. Still have a couple stitches in my chin...they match my shirt... but they come out Tuesday, finally.

Thanksgiving day was spent at the farm with some of the other boarders and Elsa and Rob's family. I didn't ride my little guy today because he is growing his winter coat and was sweating just standing. We spent Sunday with Jay's brother and wife and families in Whitby. Had a great meal there as well. So we did great this weekend. We had 3 great turkey dinners in 3 days and came home with leftovers. I am very thankful for family and friends who make me happy for every day I have.
